The Brief
A 16th birthday celebration designed to be a standout event — sophisticated, stylish and memorable. Hosted in a marquee set up in the family’s back garden, the party had a clear “glam casino” theme, complemented by black tie dress, a live Ska band, DJ, photobooth, and a full sit-down meal followed by evening food.
Our role was to supply our Luxury LED Blackjack and LED Roulette tables that would enhance the theme while providing engaging entertainment for both teenagers and adults.
The Setup
The casino tables were positioned in the main party area near the stage, ensuring they were visible, central and part of the action without overpowering the live entertainment. The LED tables were an ideal choice for a 16th birthday celebration — modern, vibrant and visually striking once the evening lighting took effect.
With 80 guests in attendance, the event had the energy of a large celebration but retained a lovely family atmosphere throughout the night.
Dealing ran from 8:30pm to 11:30pm, perfectly timed to follow the meal and coincide with the evening’s entertainment schedule.
The Atmosphere
From the moment the casino opened, it added to the overall glamour of the evening. While it wasn’t positioned as the single main attraction (the live band and DJ also played big roles), it became a key feature that enhanced the party’s overall feel.

Guest Engagement
The Blackjack table proved to be the busiest on the night. A core group of players stayed there for much of the evening, building momentum and creating a lively focal point.
There was some rotation between tables, but Blackjack consistently drew strong participation.
Player Mix:

- Teenagers and parents both got involved
The intergenerational participation was particularly notable. It wasn’t just one age group playing — it was a shared experience, helping to bring people together.
Several players built up strong stacks on Blackjack, with a few dramatic “all-in” moments that drew cheers from nearby guests. While there wasn’t an official competition or prize on this occasion, the natural excitement of the gameplay created its own buzz.
For quite a few guests, this was their first-ever casino experience, which made the friendly, approachable style of our dealers especially important.
Food & Flow of the Evening
The structure of the event helped the casino slot seamlessly into the night:

Even without personalised money on this occasion, the professional setup delivered the authentic casino feel that the theme required.
Client Feedback
At the end of the night, the client was extremely pleased with how everything had gone. Feedback on both tables was very positive, and the overall reaction from guests who played was described as “really great.” Although it wasn’t run as a competition and there was no formal prize element, the experience itself was enough to create excitement and talking points throughout the evening. It was the first time this client had booked a casino — and based on the feedback, it won’t be the last.
