Event Overview

On 28th June 2026, Finesse Casinos was delighted to provide casino entertainment for a family Bar Mitzvah celebration at a beautiful private home in Hampstead Garden Suburb, North London. With around 80 family members and friends in attendance, the afternoon combined fantastic weather, great food and relaxed entertainment to create a memorable celebration for everyone involved.

Booked through one of our long-standing event partners within the Jewish community, this was the first time the family had included a fun casino at one of their celebrations. The result was an afternoon filled with laughter, friendly competition and guests of all ages enjoying the tables together.

A Beautiful Outdoor Setting

Unlike many of our events that take place in hotels or function venues, this celebration was hosted in the garden of a stunning private residence in Hampstead Garden Suburb. With glorious summer weather, the casino tables were positioned beneath a large gazebo in the back garden, creating a comfortable and stylish space where guests could play throughout the afternoon.

The outdoor setting gave the casino a very different feel, complementing the relaxed nature of the event while allowing guests to move freely between the various activities taking place around the garden.

The Casino Setup

For the celebration, Finesse Casinos supplied two of our most popular games:

The casino operated from midday until 5:00pm, with a short pause after the first hour to allow guests to enjoy lunch and speeches before returning to the tables for the remainder of the afternoon.

Both blackjack and roulette proved equally popular, with guests continually rotating between the two tables throughout the event.

Entertainment for Every Generation

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the wide variety of guests enjoying the casino together. While there were several experienced players who quickly settled into the games, many others had never played before and were surprised by just how enjoyable the experience was.

The younger guests were particularly enthusiastic, with several building impressive chip stacks before becoming a little too adventurous with their betting and seeing their fortunes disappear just as quickly. Those changing fortunes created plenty of laughter among family and friends and perfectly captured the fun spirit of the day.

Without running the casino as a formal competition, guests were able to simply enjoy the games at their own pace, making the atmosphere feel relaxed and inclusive rather than overly competitive.
