On 3rd July 2026, Finesse Casinos was invited to provide casino entertainment for a prestigious military awards evening at RAF Honington, near Bury St Edmunds. The event welcomed around 120 guests, including RAF officers and their partners, for an evening celebrating achievements across the station.

Following a formal awards dinner, guests moved into the drinks reception area where our professional casino tables provided a relaxed and interactive form of entertainment. Alongside a live band, DJ, Ali G tribute act and selfie mirror, the casino became an enjoyable part of a packed evening programme, giving guests another opportunity to socialise after the formal proceedings had concluded.

A Smart Military Setting

The evening carried all the style and tradition expected of a military awards function. RAF officers attended in full military uniform, while other guests dressed in classic black tie, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that perfectly suited the occasion.

The casino tables were positioned within a separate bar area where the drinks reception had previously taken place. This worked particularly well, creating a dedicated entertainment space without interrupting the flow of the wider event. Guests could easily move between the casino, the free bar and the other entertainment throughout the evening.
